How To Become A On Ice Official
Step 1: Fill out the Referee interest Form
Step 2: Once approved register with USA Hockey as an Official
Step 3: If from Illinois you will need to pay a fee to WIHOA.
Step 4: Take USA Hockey Online Open Book Exam and Class
**A REMINDER THAT THIS IS A JOB NOT A PRIVILEGE. ALL OF BYHA & USA HOCKEY POLICIES MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES (Including when you are the player on the ice). IF BROKEN YOU WILL BE TERMINATED FROM THE REF POOL.**

- Current Ref Recommendation
- Unpreparedness

Getting Paid
In order to be paid you will need to submit a completed W-9 form.

Getting Games
To sign up to Ref Squirt through Bantam games, you need to get in touch with the BYHA President. You will then be added to ref emails and get a link to sign up.
