Mites
BYHA offers half ice, in-house hockey for all Mite aged players. In addition to this, we will create at least one travel team at the start of the season, with the possibility of additional travel teams being created mid-season.
Ages
2017 birth year and younger.
In-house teams will be mixed ages divided up to be of equal skilled teams.
Travel Mites teams will be 8u Mites (2017-2018 birth years) and 6u Mites (2019 and younger)
When
October-March
(Evaluations held in September)
Where
In-house and home games are played at Edwards Ice Arena in Beloit, WI.
Away game locations vary.
Evaluations will be at Janesvillle Ice Arena.
Practices
Practices are held 2-3 times weekly.
Games
All in-house games will be held at home on Saturday mornings.
At least one travel team will start the season and play games on Sundays. Additional travel teams may be created mid season.
Jerseys
In-house jerseys and socks are included in fees.
Travel Mite jerseys are not included in fees. Travel Jerseys are $55.00.
You will use your travel jersey from your prior mite season if you have one.

Extra Costs
Team Managers may ask parents to pay for items for their home tournament.
Each team is required to plan their home tournament.
2025-2026
Mites level is half ice co-ed hockey.
All mites play in-house hockey. Many will also play travel hockey in addition to in-house hockey.
