10U RIVETERS GIRLS

BYHA is excited to introduce our 12U Riveters (Peewee) Girls-Only Team!

Bringing girls together at this level helps build confidence, teamwork, and a strong foundation for their future in hockey. Players will develop their skills, learn team strategies, and grow their love for the game in a supportive, competitive environment.

Squirt level is the beginning of a player's full-ice hockey journey. Players will begin to use the plays and rules they learned during Mite level hockey. Developing the player and their love for the game is the goal at this level.

2016-2017 Birth Years

When

Evaluations are held in September.

Regular Season is October-March.

Where

Home games are played at Edwards Ice Arena in Beloit, WI.

Away games locations vary.

Evaluations are held at an alternate location prior to the season

Practices

Teams will practice 2-3 times weekly.

Practices will be at Edwards Ice Arena

Games

Games are typically held on weekend between 2-4 per weekend depending on scheduling.

Jerseys

BYHA will provide Riveters game socks at no additional cost to players.

A personalized home and away game jersey set will be required for each player at an additional cost of $100. The Girls Hockey Program intends to fundraise to offset the cost of jerseys; however, families may be responsible for a portion of the jersey cost if fundraising efforts do not fully cover the expense.

Practice jerseys are included with registration and are provided at no additional cost.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What if my daughter wants to play co-ed hockey?

A: Your daughter can play girls hockey, co-ed hockey, or BOTH! You must choose which team will be her primary team and register for that team. That team will be their main priority and she will attend all games and practices for that team. For her second team, there is no additional registration fee. She may attend any practices or games that do not conflict with her primary team's schedule.

Q: My daughter is 8u, but I want her to play up at the 10u level.

extra costs

BYHA pays $150 per player toward away tournament registration fees.

All other tournaments are paid for by the families.
